Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Erica Garriss has always had a love for property investment and design. While working towards her degree in Real Estate, Development and Construction at Virginia Tech, she spent her summers working for a prominent Miami architect. After graduating with honors, Erica spent 10 years in commercial construction. She began as an intern and within five years was managing as much as $60M new construction projects, as well as helping start up a restoration division in Virginia, Washington D.C and the Carolinas. Yearning for something more, Erica started her own construction sales, marketing and real estate investment company.

One weekend, Erica came to Charleston to visit her cousins living on Johns Island. Immediately she fell in love with the Lowcountry. Beautiful beaches, mild winters, enriched with culture and history- Charleston has it all! Within five years, she relocated with her husband to raise their son in this coastal paradise as a Real Estate Agent in Charleston, SC. Devoted wife and mother, when Erica isn't working she enjoys life outdoors in the water, on the tennis courts or volunteering at her son's school.
